As we move from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley waterfalls for our first part of the trip to Ourika Valley from Marrakech you may want to observe the lush green slopes, Berber villages and hills. There are rivers here that meander through the valley and there will be no end of opportunities to take some dramatic photos of the landscape on your camera.

We will stop at some of these typical Berber villages to allow you to immerse yourself in what everyday life is for these local villages. As we continue our journey through the valley, we begin to approach the most mountainous passes of the Atlas Mountains in the direction of Setti Fatma. There are several small waterfalls (and some much larger) along the route here and not all are full of tourists.

We advise you to bring some hiking boots as we will go on a short trail through some of the Setti Fatma waterfalls (waterfalls). You should also bring with you some swimsuits and sunscreen, as we may have the opportunity to dive into some small pools that gather at the foot of the waterfalls.

It’s also a good idea to bring along a change of clothes as we might be approaching the waterfalls where there will be plenty of back spray to cool you off. And do not forget to wear some warm clothes as the final part of the trip goes to the town of the communal society Sti Fadma, where it can be very cool, even in summer.

You should bring along a packed lunch on this trip, but there are many cafes and restaurants in some of the Berber villages on our day trip. However, the most important thing is to bring the camera, as this experience simply has to be captured in the film.

The hike to the waterfalls of Setti Fatma passes through the valley after which we will return to Marrakech in the same way we arrived. Arrival in the city is around 5.00 pm
